Entry & Eligibility Information


Entries Open: Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM
Entries Close: Thursday, September 01, 2022 at 04:00 PM

Entry Fee: $135 (includes golf, cart, and range balls)

Eligibility: 
This tournament is open to female amateur golfers who are members of member clubs of the MSGA having a combined handicap index of 30.1 or higher by September 2nd. Both players must have reached their 18th birthday by midnight of the first day of play. No individual may have a handicap index greater than 36.0. Difference in handicap index of partners shall not exceed 10.0. Team members do NOT have to belong to the same club.

 

Refund Policy: If a team elects to withdraw from the tournament, they must promptly notify the MSGA to ensure that an alternate player has a fair opportunity to play. Full entry fee will be refunded prior to September 1, 2022.

Championship Information


Format/Field Size:  The tournament will be an 18-hole four-ball stroke play competition played on a handicap basis. The handicap index used for the net component of this competition will be September 1, 2022.


Tee Times: The MSGA shall assign pairings and starting times. Starting times and pairings will be available 5 days before the date of the event and will be sent to participants via email. 

 

Prizes: The overall Champions will be the low gross score of the field and will have their names engraved on the permanent trophy. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers gross and net, the number of places being determined by the size of the field. In the event of a tie for the overall winners, there will be a hole-by-hole playoff immediately upon completion of play. Ties for any other prizes will be resolved by a match of cards according to the USGA recommended method.

Rules: USGA Rules govern all play. Entries are subject to rejection by the MSGA or host club at any time, including during the competition. The reason for rejection may include unbecoming conduct, such as violation of host club policies, or failure to comply with the requirements of the handicap system. Practice Round: Practice rounds are not available.

Food & Beverage: F&B will be available inside the clubhouse bar for purchase via cash, card, and chargeback. 

 

Substitutions: If a team needs to substitute a player after submitting an entry form, please contact Grace Appel at boatwright@msga.org as soon as possible with the substitute’s name, contact information, date of birth and club affiliation. The substitute and team must meet the eligibility requirements listed above.
